Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TicTease app and website (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility — 18+

The Service is designed around intimacy, connection and relationship wellness for adult couples. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) and legally able to enter into these Terms. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. The Service

TicTease provides games, prompts and related educational and entertainment content for consenting adults. Content is for entertainment and general information only and is not medical, psychological, legal or other professional advice. Always use your own judgment and prioritize the safety, comfort and ongoing consent of everyone involved.

3. Consent and responsible use

The Service is designed for use between consenting adults. You agree to:

• Obtain and respect the enthusiastic, ongoing consent of any partner.
• Set and honor personal limits, and stop any activity at any time.
• Never use the Service to coerce, harm, threaten or harass anyone.

You are solely responsible for how you choose to act on any prompt. TicTease is not responsible for the actions you and your partner take.

4. Accounts

You may use much of the Service without an account. If you create one, you're responsible for keeping your username and password secure and for all activity under your account. Because we do not collect email addresses and your synced data is end-to-end encrypted, we cannot reset your password or recover your data if you lose it. See How we handle data.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service if you are under 18.
• Break the law or infringe others' rights while using the Service.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Resell, redistribute or publicly perform our content except as expressly allowed.

6. Purchases

The Service may offer paid decks or features. Prices and what's included are shown at the point of purchase. Unless required by law or stated otherwise, purchases are non-refundable. We may change our offerings and prices over time.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its text, decks, prompts, design, and software, is owned by TicTease or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own private, non-commercial enjoyment. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TicTease and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. To the extent we are found liable, our total liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TicTease from any claims, damages or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the entity operating TicTease, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence still apply.
